About Us

Nearly 25 years ago we founded the Kriegskindernothilfe together with some friends.

“War must not be according to God’s will,” an important phrase from the experience of the Second World War, a phrase we grew up with as a post-war generation, was in strong contradiction to what was heard and seen every evening on radio and television,
That which can not be was suddenly there. Once, when we were spending some time on a vacation ,we have become aware that just a few hours away by car , there was war!

This impression has not left us up to this day , while war continues for instance in Syria.
Therefore we strive to help the children in particular, along with and their families in zones of war, zones of crisis and poverty areas.

We help with our own projects, sponsorships or as supporters of other crisis aid initiatives.
Our main activities are : emercency relief, social support, education and health care .

We are recognized as a nonprofit organisation and we use the funds available to us exclusively for charitable purposes.
